Infiniti M56

The 2011 Infiniti M56 combines concept, design and power. It is quite a ways off yet, but 2011 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for the automotive industry, what with the impending release of a number of new models that aim to rewrite automobile history as we know it.

Take for example the previously mentioned Infiniti M56, which is slated for release next year and features a completely new reworking of the original sports sedan design, with spacious proportions and evocative styling that is characterized by a low end front and deeply structured fenders.

The interior of the M56 is pure Infiniti, bringing together a vibrant, Japanese-inspired design and amenities and luxury features that focus in providing a driver-oriented sports vehicle.

The latest Infiniti M continue its predecessor's practice of providing several advanced technology systems, among which are the Active noise control, a new technology Forest Air climate control system, the "Infiniti Drive" system with selectable drive mode control, an Active Trace Control, an enhanced Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation system, and an eco pedal.

This Infiniti M also includes the latest Blind Spot Intervention or BSI system, which alerts the driver if there is another car detected in the blind spot area. This also assists the driver in returning the vehicle back toward the central lane, away from other cars.

According to Infiniti Business Unit Vice President Ben Poore, the 2011 Infiniti M56 represents all the best quality, concept and design of the company to date. The car is greatly influenced by previous designs, although it provides a level of craftsmanship and style that emphasizes the luxurious comfort that the Infiniti line is known for.

Among the other welcome features of the 2011 Infiniti M, you also have the option to choose either a Bose two-channel ten-speaker premium audio system, or a Bose Studio Surround sound system with digital 5.1 channel decoding and sixteen speakers. All models also have a heated steering wheel, climate controlled front seats, semi-aniline leather, and original White Ash wood tri inlaid with true silver powder.

Drawing from past models, the 2011 Infiniti M56 offers a well-balanced stance and proportions with a low hood and a long and high back deck. This gives this latest M incarnation the same roomy interior of its precursor, while giving a wider, longer and lower shape. The M wheelbase remains at 114.2 inches, although the width has been increased 2 inches. The rear and front tracks have been also been increased by 1.4 and 0.8 inches respectively.

Along with the more apparent exterior dimensions, the latest M56 also offers a sportier look, which is due in large part to the deep body shape of the doors and fenders. The interior look is well both luxury and sporty (see picture).

The Infiniti M56's wave-type doors are structured from lightweight aluminum, which gives it durability and flexibility, and each one is subjected to human inspection that provides a handcrafted level of quality.

Similar to past M models, the latest Infiniti is also equally informed by both sports car and luxury automobile styling, with an attractive Infiniti 2 arch upright that features low crystal and grille headlight clusters, large aluminum alloy wheels, and a highly aerodynamic design that works in a similar manner to a spoiler, increase the vehicle's down-force.
